Rumor: Pokemon is Going to Be On The Nintendo Switch Soon

Written by | Gaming, News, Nintendo, Rumors

In a recent rumor that we’ve determined could be quite the possibility, Pokemon has been named as a homecoming to Nintendo’s Upcoming Home Console, the Nintendo Switch and if there is anything we know about Nintendo rumors it’s that they usually fall around the “truth” area depending on the “source” of information, our source’s sources Eurogamer , say that a Pokemon game going by the title of (WIP) Pokemon: Stars are supposed to be in between the current generation Pokemon games, Sun & Moon, so basically it’ll be like a Pokemon Emerald to Ruby and Sapphire, and what makes this so special compared to any other Pokemon games released by Nintendo? Well I’ll just let my man Tom Phillips from EuroGamer explain:

Indeed, Switch will be the first Nintendo “home” console to receive the main Pokémon adventure. It only took 20 years.<span class="su-quote-cite"><a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-11-18-nintendo-switch-will-get-pokemon-sun-and-moon-version" target="_blank">Tom Phillips, EuroGamer</a></span>

So yes, this will be the first time that the popular series is coming to a home console, it kinda makes sense to put this on the system has the Nintendo Switch is sort of a Hybrid console moving between home and handheld whenever you chose to do so. It’s perfect for this franchise and I really hope it works out well for them, staff at GameFreak have always made the decision to work on handhelds as they allowed for fans to interact more making trades and various capabilities available.
