Blizzard Announces Overwatch ‘Year Of The Rooster’ Event

2017, so far has been flush with updates for Overwatch players. Blizzard started the year out by concluding the tepidly received, Winter Wonderland Event. Shortly afterward Blizzard released the control point map, Oasis. The Overwatch Team is looking to continue their streak by having a brand new event titled ‘Year Of The Rooster’ start on January 25th. The event was announced by Blizzard on Twitter with two short trailers showcasing event skins for D.VA and Mei.

This is all we have so far, but a Blizzard spokesman confirmed to Polygon that it’s scope is intended to be comparable in scale to prior events.
