We’re moments away from what feels like centuries waiting for a glimpse to see into the Star Wars universe. Now that wait just might be over… Maybe.

With the Star Wars Celebration just starting, special guests are embarking onto the Orlando, FL convention. Kathleen Kennedy, LucasFilm President, and Rian Johnson, the director directly behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi, are going to be speaking about the film and hopefully unveil the trailer. It’s with the popular general theory that they will show the trailer after the event ends, after they’ve spoken about a Star Wars Battlefront 2 and more about The Last Jedi.

The panel will be broadcasted live at 11 am – 12:30 pm ET; the live stream is currently airing on YouTube and will be showing the event later on in the day.

UPDATE: The teaser is up, unveiled to fans at the Star Wars Convention Center, the movie now technically Episode VIII gives us a first glimpse of the diminishing power of the Jedi. We see what we believe to be Luke training Rey on another planet while an invasion is happening to the team, the first order it seems is after them as well.

Not much can be said, although we did hear a particular Obi Wan saying “Seduced by the dark side” which is what we believe is being spoken towards Luke, about the Dark Lord, Vader. At first, this voice was thought to be Palpatine in a mention of Darth Plagueis.

The trailer cuts off with Luke exiting a cave.

The film will launch on December 15th of this year.
