I’m usually the most avid gamer you can find, I game on all platforms and according to my family members I’m as otaku as it gets although I beg to differ, but this article isn’t about the mysterious life of Ginto it’s about our gaming community as a whole and what you should be doing to fulfill those gaming needs. Today I recommend the Nintendo 3DS as an alternative console that allows you to take great games on the go, makes it much more affordable and much more realistic for on-the-go traveling. Shall we go ahead and get started then?
What to love about the Nintendo 3DS?
There are various reasons why people will tell you the 3DS is good and it usually comes from a bias standpoint, or even from personal opinion, I’ll be using my personal opinion to conclude what I “feel” were key aspects of this handheld console, not just to be an asshole who likes to contradict himself, but that’s what I believe really drives your purchase. Okay, Starting up!
Backwards Compatible
Not many people seem to mention that this console is completely backwards compatible with the original DS handheld console, so if you ever decide you wanted to try out certain games such as Pokemon Ranger: Shadows Of Almia, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Chrono Trigger or even Super Princess Peach. You can do so due to the ability of the 3DS supporting backwards compatibility.
3D Capabilities
Nintendo has always been a founding father of revolutionary devices, they always seem to think out of the box and manage to perfect the technology they work with to its core, this is true with their patented 3D technology that allows the user to see 3D visual representations without the need for them 3D glasses yo! With their latest upgrade in their 3DS line: The New Nintendo 3DS generation they improved on the 3d and quality of device to allow you to enjoy your experience much more than before, so now is the time to go ahead and buy one for yourself if you’re into cool pop-out effects from some of your games.
Portability
Well with any handheld device you can pretty much assume that you’re not going to be bringing a TV in your pocket, and as Mr.Iwata may he rest in peace moving forward with a prosperous Nintendo future, holds a 3ds to show just how portable the console really is, we think that it being easy to take with you is a prime example of fine tuning gaming on the god for when you need it and want it, your travel woes are no more when you have a 3ds with you.
Large Library of Quality 3DS Games
This should’ve been the main reason why you should go ahead and purchase a 3DS, but we just had to name a few others before this, if you’ve done your research then you have to know that the 3DS features an amazing library of games that fit your preferences, and better yet most of them are exclusive to just this wonderful handheld console, you can kick the shit out of other smash players or Zelda enemies whenever you choose to do so in awesome games like Hyrule Warriors, A Link Between Worlds, Super Smash Bros, Kid Icarus and so so much more. Please do yourself the favor and look at all those awesome games for the 3DS and see if this is your choice console this holiday season, or even see if your kids might want one.
Mobile Interaction
While it may come as an obvious shock to know, it’s much better to just point it out. The 3DS is superb when it comes to meeting individuals locally in your area. NO we’re not putting you on to some dating hotline, bud, but we are suggesting that if you ever want to go ahead and have a multiplayer session with some friends of yours online or locally you can, games that I recommend you try this out are Super Smash Bros 4 3DS, Mario Party: Star Rush, Pokemon Sun & Moon and a few others that I’d mention, but I don’t want the short story to be long. Even using the 3DS’s Spotpass and StreetPass feature which allows you to pass by a fellow 3DS user to assist you within your games, or you can use them in the StreetPass Mii Plaza to help you collect pieces of puzzles, characters to mini-games and more.
And this concludes my opinion if you’re interested in buying the handheld this holiday season for yourself or your children, please do your research for probable discounts and for select games your interested in. I’ve been Ginto and this is a ComedyNGaming Post.
