For those unfamiliar with Diablo 3’s season mode, players create fresh characters each season to compete with one another, which allows them to earn exclusive rewards including legendary items, clothing options, banners, and more. Characters created for seasonal play are barred from sharing anything with your main character until the season ends. A Diablo season typically lasts 2-3 months, but the recently the timeline has become a bit more consistent. Diablo 3’s latest two seasons only lasted a brief 70 days.
Diablo 3’s inaugural season for on consoles will be no different from previous seasons. Blizzard plans to bring a plethora of new exclusives to both consoles and PC’s everywhere. There’s an exclusive set of black conqueror head and shoulder cosmetics available for players, as well as a brand new set of Black Seastone portraits to obtain.
